Overview CEN-SAD (Community of Sahel-Saharan States) is a Trade Bloc composed by Nigeria, Egypt, Morocco, Libya, Tunisia, Ghana, Cote d'Ivoire, Guinea, Burkina Faso, Mali, Kenya, Senegal, Sudan, Mauritania, Togo, Chad, Niger, Liberia, Benin, Sierra Leone, Eritrea, Somalia, Djibouti, Central African Republic, Guinea-Bissau, Gambia, Cape Verde, Comoros, and Sao Tome and Principe. In 2022, CEN-SAD exported $336B (1.42% of global exports) and imported $458B (1.93% of global imports). Its largest exporter, Nigeria exported $70.7B, which corresponds to 21% of the total exports. On the other hand, the largest importer, Egypt, imported $95.7B, which is 20.9% of the total imports of Community of Sahel-Saharan States.
