Description Apparatus for electro-plating includes a rubber tube that is used to drip plating solution on to an object. For electrolysis, two metal electrodes are connected to a battery or other electric source and placed in a container of water. The electric current jumps the gap, which breaks the water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen. With electroplating, the metal is attracted to the metal electrode and coats it with a thin layer of metal. With electrolysis, the electric current breaks apart the water molecules, which then recombine to create hydrogen and oxygen.
