Overview: In September 2020 Malaysia's Natural gas, liquefied exports accounted up to MYR1.48B and imports accounted up to MYR294M, resulting in a positive trade balance of MYR1.19B. Between September 2019 and September 2020 the exports of Malaysia's   Natural gas, liquefied have decreased by MYR-1.78B (-54.6%) from MYR3.27B to MYR1.48B, while imports decreased by MYR-327M (-52.6%) from MYR621M to MYR294M.

Destinations: In September 2020, Natural gas, liquefied were exported mostly to China (MYR561M), Japan (MYR501M), South Korea (MYR327M), Myanmar (MYR54.4M), and Thailand (MYR41.2M), and were imported mostly from Brunei (MYR163M) and Australia (MYR131M).

Growth: In September 2020, the decrease in Natural gas, liquefied's year-by-year exports was explained primarily by a decrease in exports to Japan (MYR-969M or -65.9%), China (MYR-203M or -26.6%), and South Korea (MYR-151M or -31.6%).
