Destinations: In July 2020 Platinum exported mostly to Hong Kong (ZAR3.47B), Japan (ZAR2.55B), United Kingdom (ZAR2.19B), United States (ZAR2.13B), and Switzerland (ZAR694M), and imported mostly from Russia (ZAR65M), South Africa (ZAR20.7M), United Kingdom (ZAR7.81M), Germany (ZAR2.71M), and Switzerland (ZAR545k).
Growth: In July 2020, the increase in Platinum's year-by-year exports was explained primarily by an increase in exports to Hong Kong (ZAR2.59B or 295%), Germany (ZAR258M or 135%), and South Korea (ZAR105M or 257%). In July 2020, the decrease in Platinum's year-by-year imports was explained primarily by a decrease in imports from Germany (ZAR-50.6M or -94.9%) and United States (ZAR-546k or -96.8%).
